CEREC® Crowns in Time for the Holidays

When you need a Downtown Portland Cosmetic Dentist, you can depend on Dr. Ben to give you a smile worth applauding, and best of all, it won’t take two or three dental appointments.

CEREC® uses CAD/CAM Dentistry that allows Dr. Ben Wang and his team from Centerport Family and Implant Dentistry to complete the entire process in house eliminating the need for messy impressions and temporary dental crowns. CEREC® is a simple procedure that takes about an hour and a half to two hours two complete. With CEREC you can take a long lunch hour and come back to work with a brand new smile.

What is CEREC® Used For?

CEREC® Crowns are great for chipped, cracked, or broken teeth and may be the answer if you have old restorations or old dental crowns that you would like to replace. You can have a new smile in a single dental appointment that will look and feel like your natural tooth or teeth.

What is the CEREC® PROCESS?

After Dr. Ben and his team have thoroughly examined your teeth and gums, digital impressions will be taken chairside before being fed into the computer. Dr. Wang will customize the crown and select a color that best matches the rest of your natural teeth.

Once satisfied with the results, Dr. Ben will send his digital pictures to the special CEREC® in office milling machine for manufacture. While you are waiting for your new CEREC® Crowns, or crown, you can check your email, post on social media, watch TV, or just relax.

After the milling machine has done its job, which takes about 40 minutes, Dr. Ben will prepare the tooth before bonding permanently into place. Once your new crown has been checked for fit and color, it will be polished to match the rest of your beautiful smile.

If you have been reluctant to fix your chipped, cracked, or broken smile, call or click and schedule an appointment with CEREC® Downtown Portland Dentist, Dr. Ben Wang. You really can have a show-stopping grin for the holidays.
