Clear Braces are the Comfortable Alternative

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is a series of clear plastic trays or aligners that are custom made to fit your teeth. The aligners resemble tooth-whitening trays and are comfortable and nearly transparent.

How Do Clear Braces Work?

Because the clear braces system from Invisalign® works by gradually shifting the teeth into place they are more comfortable. Every tray, there could be between 11 and 31 sets, is designed to be a bit straighter than your previous aligner. As a result, teeth typically move about 0.25mm per aligner.

How Long Do Clear Braces Take To Work?

While each patient varies, the average adult treatment time is 12 months. Some patients will see results in as little as 6 months, while others may see straighter teeth in 18 months.

What Do Invisible Braces Fix?

Invisalign® works for a variety of dental issues that include:

Better Oral Health-Because you remove your aligners when you eat and drink and when you brush and floss, you will be less susceptible to dental carries and gum disease. Conventional wires and brackets make it impossible to brush as the brackets are permanently attached to your teeth for the entire treatment time.

More Comfortable-Wires and brackets can be uncomfortable. Made from a soft and pliable plastic, invisible braces are more comfortable while your teeth are moving into position.

Appearance-Because Invisalign® is nearly invisible you and I will be the only ones who will know you are having your teeth straightened. Clear braces are what they say they are, clear, and invisible. As a result, you won’t have to worry about your braces showing.
